At Market Mavericks Academy, we believe that prospective students should have adequate information about our programmes before making a final enrolment decision.

Accordingly, our admission process includes an initial orientation session that provides prospective students with an opportunity to understand the programme, its structure, methodology, expectations, facilities, support and other relevant aspects before confirming their admission.

1. Orientation Before Final Admission

All prospective students are provided an opportunity to attend/watch the designated orientation session before confirming their final admission.

The orientation is intended to help the prospective student make an informed decision regarding whether the programme is suitable for their requirements and expectations.

The prospective student is encouraged to review the programme information carefully and raise any questions or seek clarification before confirming admission.

2. Right to Decide Before Final Admission

After attending/watching the orientation session, the prospective student may decide whether they wish to proceed with the programme.

If the prospective student does not wish to proceed, they may withdraw from the admission process before confirming their final admission, subject to the applicable registration terms.

No final seat commitment is considered to have been made until the prospective student completes the prescribed admission process.

3. Confirmation of Final Admission

A prospective student who chooses to proceed after reviewing the orientation and programme information may confirm their admission by completing the prescribed admission and payment process.

By completing this process, the student confirms that:

  • They have had an opportunity to review the programme information;

  • They have had an opportunity to attend/watch the orientation;

  • They have had an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification;

  • They have voluntarily decided to proceed with the programme;

  • They understand the nature and structure of the programme;

  • They are confirming their participation in the selected batch; and

  • They understand and accept the applicable cancellation, payment and refund terms.

4. Seat Reservation and Cancellation Policy After Admission

Once final admission has been confirmed, a seat is reserved for the student in the selected batch.

Following confirmation of final admission, Market Mavericks may make arrangements and incur costs relating to faculty allocation, classroom capacity, batch scheduling, learning resources, administrative processing, student support and other programme-related arrangements.

Accordingly, cancellation or refund requests made after final admission has been confirmed will generally not be accepted, except where Market Mavericks is legally required to provide a remedy or where Market Mavericks expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

5. Change of Mind After Admission

The opportunity to evaluate the programme through the orientation session is provided before final admission.

Therefore, a change of mind after confirming final admission will not ordinarily constitute a ground for cancellation or refund.

This includes circumstances such as:

  • The student subsequently deciding that the programme is not suitable;

  • Change in personal circumstances;

  • Change in employment or business circumstances;

  • Lack of time to attend classes;

  • Travel or relocation;

  • Change in financial circumstances;

  • Change in learning or career objectives;

  • Loss of interest in financial markets;

  • Failure to attend classes;

  • Failure to utilise programme resources; or

  • Any other decision by the student to discontinue participation after confirming admission.

6. EMI / E-Mandate Requirements

Students choosing to pay the programme fee through an EMI or third-party financing arrangement must complete all required formalities of the relevant financing/payment provider before their admission is considered fully completed.

This may include completing the required electronic mandate (E-Mandate/NACH mandate), KYC, documentation, authentication, verification or other payment-provider requirements.

The student is responsible for completing these requirements within the time communicated by Market Mavericks or the relevant financing provider.

Failure to Complete the E-Mandate

Where a student has selected an EMI payment option but fails, refuses or is unable to complete the required E-Mandate or other mandatory financing formalities, the EMI arrangement may not be considered successfully established.

In such circumstances, Market Mavericks may defer, suspend or decline the student's admission/participation in upcoming classes until the required payment arrangement has been successfully completed or an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Any amount already paid toward the programme will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable admission and refund terms and will not automatically become refundable solely because the student has not completed the required E-Mandate or financing formalities.

Where the student wishes to continue with the programme, Market Mavericks may require the outstanding programme fee to be paid through an approved alternative payment method before further participation is permitted.

The student acknowledges that selecting an EMI option does not, by itself, constitute successful completion of the payment arrangement. The required financing and mandate formalities must also be successfully completed.

7. EMI Payment Obligations

Once the EMI arrangement has been successfully established, the student remains responsible for complying with the terms and payment obligations of the relevant financing/payment provider.

Market Mavericks is not responsible for delays, rejection, failure or cancellation of an EMI arrangement caused by the student's bank, financing provider, payment gateway, KYC process, mandate registration, authentication failure or other third-party process.

Students must not assume that an EMI application or mandate attempt constitutes successful payment unless confirmation has been received.

8. Non-Attendance Does Not Constitute Cancellation

Once admission has been confirmed, subsequently choosing not to attend classes, failing to participate in the programme, or not utilising the facilities, materials, recordings, community access or other resources provided does not automatically cancel the admission or create an entitlement to a refund.

Students are responsible for attending the scheduled sessions and making reasonable use of the resources made available to them.

9. Batch Transfer

Where operationally feasible, Market Mavericks may, at its discretion, permit a student to transfer to another available batch instead of providing a refund.

Any such transfer will be subject to:

  • Availability of seats;

  • Programme validity;

  • Batch schedules;

  • Applicable administrative conditions; and

  • Approval by Market Mavericks.

A batch transfer is a discretionary accommodation and is not an automatic entitlement.

10. Programme-Specific Terms

Certain programmes, offers or promotional enrolments may have specific terms relating to cancellation, transfer, payment or refunds.

Where specific written terms have been expressly provided to and accepted by the student at the time of admission, those programme-specific terms shall apply to that enrolment, subject to applicable law.

11. Cancellation by Market Mavericks

If Market Mavericks cancels a programme before it commences and is unable to provide a reasonable alternative arrangement, the student will be informed of the available options in accordance with the applicable terms.

If Market Mavericks is unable to provide the programme for reasons attributable to Market Mavericks, any applicable refund or alternative remedy will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the specific circumstances.

12. Educational Nature of the Programme

Market Mavericks Academy provides educational and training services relating to financial markets.

Enrolment in any programme does not guarantee:

  • Trading profits or investment returns;

  • A specific level of income;

  • Employment or business opportunities;

  • Successful completion of any examination or certification;

  • Recovery of previous trading or investment losses; or

  • Any particular financial outcome.

Financial markets involve risk. Students are responsible for their own trading and investment decisions.

13. Refund Requests

Any request concerning cancellation or refund must be submitted in writing to:

Email: tradewithmarketmavericks@gmail.com

The request should include the student's:

  • Full name;

  • Registered mobile number;

  • Programme enrolled;

  • Date of admission;

  • Payment details; and

  • Reason for the request.

Market Mavericks will review the request based on the applicable programme terms, the stage of the admission process and the circumstances of the request.

14. Student Acknowledgement

Before confirming final admission, the student will be provided an opportunity to review the orientation and relevant programme information.

By voluntarily proceeding with final admission after this opportunity has been provided, the student acknowledges that they have made their enrolment decision after being given an opportunity to evaluate the programme.

The student further acknowledges that final admission constitutes a commitment to the selected programme and batch, and that cancellation or refund requests after final admission will generally not be accepted, subject to applicable law and any specific written terms applicable to the enrolment.

Students selecting EMI payment additionally acknowledge that completion of the required E-Mandate and financing formalities is an essential part of completing the selected payment arrangement.

15. Acceptance of Policy

By completing the final admission process, the student confirms that they have read, understood and accepted this Refund & Cancellation Policy and the other applicable terms of enrolment.

Market Mavericks recommends that students carefully review all programme information, payment terms and refund terms and clarify any questions before confirming their final admission.
